colorfully iced cookies - taste like so

Here are some cookies that we made. It was really fun decorating them and I love the colors of the icing.

Taste like so is a joke from the Pullip dolls website: http://www.thevalleyofthedolls.com/dollshop.php/Pullip/Celsiy

They are the "feel like so" dolls. They speak nonsense.

sewn mice

I've gotten into making mice and they're fun to make. Here's how: cut a rain drop shape from any soft material you would like to use, then fold in half and sew along the top from the nose. Leave a space to stuff the mouse at the other end. Once it is stuffed sew over the hole and make sure you are stitching the tail too or it will fall out. For the tail I use embroidery thread and make it into a long braid. Last of all, sew on a nose and some eyes.

This is a mouse family. On these mice, the sewn edge is on the bottom. I used to sew them like that, but now I don't because they can't stand up. They would always fall on their side.

A Cute Felted Dog

This is a dog that I needle-felted.
For it's eyes I sewed some black beads on to it's head.
It took awhile, but all the time used in making it was worth using.
Isn't it cute?

Ornaments

These are heart ornaments that you can make easily. All you'll need is tinfoil, white glue, coloured tissue paper, sequins, glitter, paint, paintbrush, paper clip, and string.
First you shape tinfoil into a heart shape and cover it with white glue. Next you rip up the tissue paper and stick it on the places where there's glue. When you think you've got it thick enough, then put a coat of glue on it and if you want to you can put glitter & sequins on.
If you want it to be really strong put another layer of glue on top. Then you can stick a paper clip in the top and put a string through so you can hang it on something.
You can also make your own shapes, like a candy cane for Christmas. Have a good time!

Funny Food Faces

Here are two really funny food faces. They're made out of perogies. The first face just looks really funny, but the other face is being eaten by the third face.

By now the faces are eaten. Do you like to make faces out of food?

Cute Little Raindrop

I made a cute little raindrop and it's so cute I can't find a name for it. As soon as I looked in a Martha Stewart Kids magazine I got the idea to make it. I imagined the shape and in the end it actually turned out to be how I wanted it.
Have I tempted you yet to make something?
